Who am I? Well, I'm a 19-year-old kid from Wisconsin named Bill Meltsner. You can read my resumé if you want to. I wrote a text adventure that got some press. I'm the Mac maintainer (and occasional feature contributor) for the LÖVE2D game engine. If you feel like immersing yourself in the glory that is Web Two Point Oh, you can follow me on Twitter.
As far as academics go, I'm currently attending Bard College at Simon's Rock. It's a neat place. I'm a sophomore.
I also do computer programming. I've been programming in Java since I was 11, and am well-versed in Lua. I also know (X)HTML and CSS well, and a modicum of PHP and JavaScript. I'm constantly messing around with lots of interesting languages; at the moment, C# and Processing are at the top of the list.
When I'm not studying, coding, or playing video games, I do stuff with music. I've played the piano since I was 4, and compose music using computer-based tools. For original compositions, I use either Myriad Software's Melody Assistant or a college copy of Sibelius to get the music down in score form. For post-production, I use Apple's GarageBand or, sometimes, Audacity. For remixes and mashups, I pretty much exclusively use Audacity. I'm also messing around in Renoise on and off.
